How to access your Linux Cloud server using SSH

Issue

Unable to SSH to the Cloud server to manage it

Symptoms

Receive Cloud login info but have no idea on how to proceed further.

Cause

Lack of knowledge in accessing SSH to manage the Cloud

Workaround

STEP 1: Please open your PuTTY application. If you do not have an SSH client, you can download the Putty SSH freeware client at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

STEP 2: Insert your VDS IP address in the Host Name(or IP address) column

STEP 3: Insert the SSH port number to access your server. (Default port = 22)

STEP 4: Click Open

STEP 5: At the login as: prompt, enter your username

STEP 6: At the password: prompt, enter your password.
