Missing email in Junk Email, Deleted Items and Sent Items folder
Symptoms
None
Cause
Smartermail system has enabled “Folder Auto-Clean” which the system will auto-clean contents of certain folder after a period of time.
- “Junk Email” folder – Our system will auto clean up content of the folder after 15days.
- “Deleted Items” folder – Our system will auto clean up content of the folder after a day.
- “Sent Items” folder – Our system will auto clean up content of the folder after 30days.
Workaround
In order to keep the contents of mentioned folders as above, create a new folder and move all the emails into the newly created folder as to avoid the content being auto-clean.
