How to use PingPlotter to trace network status

Issue

Experiencing network-related problem and unable to troubleshoot / uncover the issue.

Symptoms

Experiencing occasional / frequent slowdowns, disconnections OR general connectivity issues with an application requires internet access to function (e.g. web browsers, online games, stock trading applications, Voice over IP (VoIP) or similar applications).

Guideline

Task 1: Download PingPlotter

Step 1: Download the PingPlotter installer http://www.pingplotter.com/downloads/pngplt_1.exe

Step 2: Launch the installer

Step 3: Select Next

Step 4: On the Select Installation Features screen, simply proceed with the default settings. Then, select Next.

Step 5: Select Install

Step 6: Upon completion, select Finish OR Launch PingPlotter 5 Now if you want to use it straight away.

Task 2: Using PingPlotter

Step 1: Enter your domain name or IP of the target in the Enter target name or IP search field to proceed with the diagnosis

Step 2: The application will automatically generate the diagnosis.

Step 3:  You may refer to the generated diagnosis identify the network problems.

Step 4:  If you require further assistance from our support department, you may also submit a ticket to us with a screenshot of the result in .jpg format at http://tickets.netonboard.com/ to our support department.

PingPlotter is a network troubleshooting, monitoring and diagnostic tool help identify and solve network problems. It could help you to troubleshoot a number of network-related problems.
