How to Increase Performance of Windows Server

Issue

Unable to disable task offload in the registry editor

Symptoms

Network performance in your VDS slows down

Cause

None

Workaround

STEP 1: Go to Run and type “regedit

STEP 2: A registry windows will appear and go to the following path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

STEP 3: Right-click on the Parameters folder and select New 

STEP 4: Choose DWORD Value

STEP 5: Name the value as “DisableTaskOffload

STEP 6: Double click on DisableTaskOffload and set the value data as 1.

STEP 7: Upon completing, restart the server.

Additional Information
