Would like to change the site URL for WordPress
Symptoms
Unable to load the WordPress default page
Cause
Site URL is incorrect
Workaround
When there is an error for WordPress that just being installed like the page not properly display where the page that appears not in a correct order instead of the default WordPress page. The issue here was due to the site path was invalid. In order to resolve this issue, we need to edit the Mysql database and update to the correct link.
Enclosed is how to resolve this issue:
STEP 1: Obtain the mentioned Mysql database Username and Password.
STEP 2: Login to phpmyadmin control panel for the affected domain.
STEP 3: Select the mentioned database.
STEP 4: Select wp_options table.
STEP 5: Then select Browse tab.
STEP 6: Edit the site URL value to the correct URL.
STEP 7: Save the new site URL.
STEP 8: Try re-browse the affected WordPress page and the issue will be resolved immediately.
